I am currently the Artistic Director for The Alchemy Theatre in Austin, TX. As an award-winning stage director, I have directed in AUSTIN: The Baker's Wife, The Virgin Trial, Mack & Mabel (nominated for 12 B, Iden Payne Awards), Truman Capote's A Christmas Memory (a reading) and The Waverly Gallery for The Alchemy Theatre; Outside Mullingar for Reverie Theatre. LOS ANGELES: The Pacific Resident Theatre productions of The Dorothy Parker Project and The Lion in Winter; The Sierra Madre Playhouse productions of The Lion in Winter and To Kill A Mockingbird (Nominated for 7 BroadwayWorld Awards, including Best Play and Best Direction of a Play); One For the Road (2009 Car Plays); The Lies of Handsome Men; Beyond Me - A Docu-Musical; A Good Smoke; Two Men Losing Their Minds (winner LA Weekly Award); My Africa; Knot Stew; Casse-tete; The Nature of the Beast; American Air; Where, Oh Where Could My Baby Be? From 2000 to 2011 I was the Producing Artistic Director of The Canyon Theatre Ensemble, a Los Angeles based non-profit 501(c)3 arts organization dedicated to producing new plays, having directed 5 world premieres, 4 West Coast premieres and numerous staged readings while in that position. I assisted Gordon Davidson on Marsha Norman's play, Traveler in the Dark at the Mark Taper Forum Los Angeles and also performed Off-Broadway as Whizzer Brown in William Finn's In Trousers at the Promenade Theatre in New York City. I am a 2005 alumus of Lincoln Center Theatre Director's Lab West.
